After 30 years as a successful, creative, award-winning art director in the big, wide, world of advertising, I suddenly find myself, and most of my colleagues…
1) unemployed.
2) unemployable.
3) underemployed.

Our creative brains are leaking out of our heads as we fritter away time on networking sites, hoping to make a connection that will land us a job.

Well, I’m no quitter, but I’ve come to the realization that those networking sites are probably NOT going to do much more than reconnect me with some lost friends and colleagues.

That’s where this blog comes in. We are the new “Hobos” … and here is where you are welcome to stand around the fire pit and chat, complain, comiserate, or whatever… ’cause, I fear, there’s no turnin’ back.
